Track Race Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Track Race is built to keep data use light. The game stores a random install identifier for leaderboard use, keeps best times on your device, and works with Google services for ads, consent, and basic usage insights. Live Mode uses your phone's front camera, but all motion processing happens on your device and no camera images are uploaded, recorded, or stored anywhere.
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Track Race handles information when you play the game, use Live Mode, see advertisements, and use leaderboard features.
Information Track Race Uses
- Random install identifier: Track Race creates a random identifier and stores it on your device so the same installation can be recognized for leaderboard-related features.
- Best times and leaderboard entries: When you finish a race, the game may save your best times locally and may send score data — the event name, time or distance, your installation identifier, and submission date — to a cloud-based database used for leaderboard features. Live Mode race times are also saved for internal usage tracking but are not shown in any public leaderboard.
- Camera access (Live Mode only): Track Race uses your front-facing camera when you start Live Mode. The video feed is read frame by frame to detect your body's pose for in-game movement. No video frames or images leave your device, and nothing from the camera is stored, recorded, or transmitted.
- Advertising identifiers: When advertisements are shown, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and standard request data (such as country, language, and connection type) to deliver and measure ads. You control whether ads are personalized through your device's advertising settings and the privacy consent form shown in the app.
- Basic analytics: Track Race uses Google Analytics to understand overall usage, such as visits, session activity, engagement, and general technical details about the device or browser environment.
How This Information Is Used
- To show personal best times and leaderboard results.
- To keep the same installation connected to its submitted scores.
- To process body movement locally during Live Mode for camera-driven gameplay.
- To deliver and measure advertisements through Google AdMob.
- To remember your privacy and advertising consent choices.
- To understand how Track Race is used and improve performance and design over time.
Live Mode and Your Camera
Live Mode is an optional feature that lets you race using real body movement. When you start Live Mode, Track Race asks for camera permission and reads frames from your front-facing camera in real time. Each frame is analyzed on your device by Google's ML Kit Pose Detection to estimate joint positions; those joint positions are then turned into in-game speed and actions. The camera image itself is never uploaded, recorded, shared, or stored. Live Mode stops accessing the camera as soon as you exit Live Mode, leave the screen, or close the app. You can revoke camera permission at any time in your device's app settings — Track Race will continue to work without Live Mode.
Advertisements
Track Race shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. The first time you open the app you may be shown a privacy consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform. Your consent choices determine whether AdMob can show personalized advertisements; you can change your choice at any time using the "Privacy Choices" button in the app. Advertising identifiers, IP address, and device data are processed by Google in line with the Google Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
Track Race relies on a small number of third-party services to support core features.
- Supabase — cloud-based leaderboard storage for best times linked to a random install identifier.
- Google AdMob — serving and measuring advertisements.
- Google User Messaging Platform — collecting and storing your privacy and advertising consent choices.
- Google ML Kit (Pose Detection) — on-device body-pose estimation used by Live Mode; no data leaves your device.
- Google Play Core — delivering in-app updates from the Google Play Store.
- Google Analytics — basic usage analytics.
These services have their own privacy policies and terms.

Your Choices
- Camera: Camera access is requested only when you start Live Mode. You can deny or revoke camera permission in your device's app settings without affecting the rest of the game.
- Advertising consent: Open "Privacy Choices" in the app to change whether personalized advertisements are shown.
- Advertising ID: You can reset or disable your device's advertising identifier in your device's privacy settings.
- Local data: Clearing the app's data, or uninstalling the game, removes locally stored information including the random install identifier and local best times.
Storage and Control
- The random install identifier, local best times, and consent choices are stored on your device.
- Clearing app data or uninstalling the game may remove the information stored locally on your device.
- Leaderboard entries and analytics events that have already been submitted may remain on third-party services unless removed there.
